Description

Davits keep your small boat or PWC out of the water and rotate over the dock for storage, making it the perfect 1,000 lb boat lift. Davits can mount on either a concrete seawall or a piling. They mount out of the water to reduce maintenance and are constructed from steel for strength.

When ordering a Davit for a PWC, a personal watercraft lift kit will be needed to connect to the PWC.

The lead time for a Davit is at least 3-4 weeks.

  • 1,850 lb boat davit has a usable reach of 5 ft 5 in. and a height of 8 ft.

Requirements

  • Piling mounted davits require dock builder to verify piling strength. Piling mounted boat davits need 40 inches of piling above the dock.
  • Seawall-mounted 1,000 lbs boat davit requires 1/4 yard of concrete.
  • Seawall-mounted 1,850 lb boat davit requires 3/4 yard of concrete.
  • Watercraft Lift Kit needed to hoist PWC (order separately)

The lift should not be altered in any way to lift wider boats. Never ride a PWC lift or any lift up or down. BLW lifts and hoists are not for lifting people in any way. Never attempt to operate with an extension cord or generator. Mount lift switch in location that cannot be reached from PWC.
