ShoreMaster 4,000 lb DVS Vertical Boat Lift

The ShoreMaster 4,000 lb DVS Vertical Boat Lift combines ShoreMaster's welded aluminum Double V-Side design with 66" of vertical lift travel and multiple operation options for boats with a fully loaded weight up to 4,000 lbs.

Choose the 4009 with a 108" inside width or the wider 4010 with a 120" inside width. From there, configure your lift with ShoreMaster's manual Whisper Winch 3.0 or step up to an integrated motor system with 12/24V or 120V power and keyturn or wireless remote control.

4009 or 4010: Choose Your Lift Width

Both models offer the same 4,000 lb capacity, 66" lift travel, and overall frame length. The primary difference is the amount of clearance between the lift sides.

Model Inside Width Overall Width Capacity
4009 DVS 108" 120" 4,000 lbs.
4010 DVS 120" 132" 4,000 lbs.

Tip: Check your boat's beam and allow appropriate clearance when choosing your lift width. If you're unsure, Boat Lift Warehouse can help you determine which model fits your boat.

Choose How You Want to Operate Your Lift

Unlike the 3,000 lb DVS models, the 4,000 lb platform gives you the option to order your lift with either a traditional manual winch or an integrated powered system.

Operation Power Control
Whisper Winch 3.0 Manual Operating wheel
Integrated Motor 12/24V Keyturn or Wireless Remote
Integrated Motor 120V Keyturn or Wireless Remote

The integrated versions place the motor system directly into the lift configuration, eliminating the need to add a separate lift motor later.

Complete Your Lift Setup

Your DVS frame still needs to be configured around your boat and waterfront. Select the appropriate boat-support system, lift legs, guides, and deep-water accessories for your installation. Manual Whisper Winch configurations require an operating wheel, which is sold separately.

66" of Vertical Lift Travel

ShoreMaster's DVS design provides a generous 66" vertical travel range, giving the lift flexibility to work across a variety of waterfront conditions and changing seasonal water levels.

The rack moves vertically within the frame, allowing the boat to be raised securely above the water while maintaining the familiar, straightforward operation of a vertical boat lift.

Precision-Welded Aluminum Construction

ShoreMaster's DVS lifts use welded aluminum construction designed for strength, stability, and long-term waterfront use. Aluminum provides excellent corrosion resistance while keeping the frame lighter than comparable steel lift systems.

The Double V-Side frame design combines structural support with an open center area for your boat and selected support system.

Make Sure 4,000 lbs. Is the Right Capacity

Boat lift capacity should always be based on the fully loaded weight of your boat, not simply the manufacturer's published dry weight.

Include the weight of the engine, fuel, batteries, gear, accessories, and anything else that will remain aboard while the boat is stored on the lift. The total supported weight should stay within the lift's 4,000 lb rated capacity.

Boat beam, hull style, water depth, bottom conditions, and support configuration should also be considered when selecting your lift.

Installing in Deeper Water?

Longer lift legs are available for deeper installations. ShoreMaster specifies that deep-water braces are required when 5' or more of the leg post is exposed. Consider the actual installed water depth and exposed leg length when configuring your lift.

Not Sure Which 4,000 lb DVS Setup Is Right?

Choosing between the 4009 and 4010 is just the beginning. Your boat, waterfront, preferred operation style, and support system all affect the final configuration.

Contact Boat Lift Warehouse and we'll help you select the right lift width, operation system, legs, boat support, and accessories for your waterfront.
