Skiing and Tubing and Fireworks, Oh My!

Skiing and Tubing and Fireworks, Oh My!

The 4th of July holiday is right around the corner and there are endless opportunities for fun on your boat!  Whether your group is more interested in the fast paced activities or just a relaxing day on the water there is something for everyone. Below are just a few ideas for ways to spend your 4th of July:

  • Fishing: Whether you boat on a lake or in the ocean, fishing can be a fun way to pass the time. Fishing is an event that is great for kids, parents, and grandkids alike! The feeling when you finally catch a fish is unexplainable!
  • Tubing: This is another great activity for everyone to get involved in, even if you are not comfortable tubing yourself it is equally as enjoyable to watch others laugh and bounce around on the tube.
  • Skiing: Skiing takes a good deal of skill to master but once it has been mastered it is a blast. You can also try your skills out and try to slalom once you have gotten the hang of conventional water skiing.
  • Wakeboarding: If you are a big fan of skateboarding, wakeboarding could be the activity for you. Wakeboarding offers the opportunity to learn exciting stunts and tricks.
  • Relaxing: If you are looking to just have a relaxing afternoon on the water with your family consider just some good old fashioned quality time.
  • Fireworks: Many cities will put on a fireworks show in honor of the 4th of July. Look up information ahead of time to find out the night and time they will be displayed so you do not miss the excitement!

All of these activities will help to make sure you have a memorable and safe 4th of July weekend! Remember to wear your life jackets during any water activities and keep your boat clear of where fireworks are being set off.
